SALA Short Story Prize winners announced

Arts Council of Mansfield is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2016 SALA Short Story Prize. In its second year, the prize awards a national winner and a local winner. The Bendigo Bank, Mansfield and District Community Bank branch sponsors the local winner prize of $500. The prize for the national winner is $1000. This year’s competition saw regional writer Chris Scriven (Kyneton) take out the national prize with his story ‘Knees like polished stones’ The local winner this year is Kammy Cordner Hunt, with her story ‘Himalaya’.
