More than an art prize, Ravenswood is an art movement for women. With a $47,500 prize pool, the Ravenswood art prize puts the talents and careers of women artists first, and it’s calling for 2024 entries. Structured as an annual open prize, awards are offered across three categories:
Professional Artist Prize of $35,000
Emerging Artist Prize of $5,000
Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize of $5,000
People’s Choice Award - $2,000 plus a $500 art pack.
The Prize is far more than a competition. Providing continuity and support for the next generation, the winners are invited to return the year following the prize, to stage an exhibition in the school.
