The Klytie Pate Award for Ceramics will be contested this year by some of Australia’s most prestigious ceramic artists.
The finalists have been selected from the highest number of entries to the Award to date and over 40 pieces will be on display.
The $5,000 prize pool includes the Mark Brabham Emerging Artist award of $1,500 and the $500 People’s Choice Award.
This year, Klytie Pate is being supported by Mansfield Adult Continuing Education (MACE) and the exhibition is being held in their lovely, light Bank Room. The award winners will be announced at MACE, 145 High Street, Mansfield on Friday 5th March with the free exhibition open 6 – 16 March daily, 11am – 3.30pm.
The Klytie Pate Award acknowledges one of Australia’s pre-eminent and prolific ceramic artists – Klytie Pate – and celebrates her through exhibiting the finest in contemporary ceramic art practice.
